Why I’m On Substack
This website is a wonderful digital home base, so to speak, and I’ve always seen it as acting like a more comprehensive resume for me, but it never quite felt like exactly the right spot to post my online essays about vampires, creative writing about vampires, poetry about vampires, and well, most importantly–my Apricity bonus comics featuring my most beloved characters, Silas and Leda–who may or may not also be vampires….
Anyway, if the point of this website is to assist me in building my writing ‘brand’, and I also need to properly house and display my work in front of real, living (and occasionally undead) audiences, then making and linking my Substack here is the way for writers like me to do just that.
